Subject: [sccpartners] 5x cost per unit?

Hi.  Was wondering if anyone out there has done a conversion to figure out the cost per square foot for for 5x (or any other) polish.  I am having trouble making the conversion from weight to volume.  Margi tells me that there are 26 tablespoons per lb., but at 3 tablespoons per 10 square feet and approximately $10.00 per lb, that would give me a cost of approximately $.12 per square foot.  The stonetec polish guidelines suggest 800-1200 sq.ft. per a 1.55 lb canister, which gives me something below $.02 per square foot.

Thanks.

Baird
