Yeah-color sealing is the way to go.
The only issue is the quality of the installation-you need a good recessed grout joint.
Grout that is the same height as the stone will give you some grief.

I have a client with the wrong color grout outside. The color was supposed to be midnight black, but looks gray. Any ideas on how to darken the grout to black without regrouting. The outside temperature is over 100 degrees during the summer
