I know folks who use lithium densifiers on limestone's and say they work well.
Prosoco has some great densifiers and sealers for limestone's.
We have also used some products from ameripolish that have worked well on limestone's that get traffic.
Check out ameripolish SR2  sealer and also 3DSP sealer. The SR2 is expensive but what we have done is first use densifier or a water based high quality sealer.
We seal the stone with a cheaper product then top it off with the SR2 that seems to leave a film on the surface-then buff with a floor machine(low gloss) or burnisher for higher gloss.
We have been impressed both on concrete and softer stones.
We have also done worked with some micro top coatings that instead of burnishing we just buffed with a 400/800 pad and seemed to work really well for a med honed finish.
Hope that helps you out with some ideas.

Partners,

Second attempt starting this thread. Client installing 10,000 sf of Portuguese limestone. I don't have the name handy but it's definitely on the soft side. My clients question is what is the best densifyer or hardner and once applied is there anything further that we can do to protect it. The stone is a honed finish.

Your time and input is appreciated. Thanks.
