RE: [sccpartners] Never used DuPont Bulletprood Hector Castillo 14 Aug 2013 11:00 EDT

If you leave a sealer dry on any floor you will get a sealer haze.
I always buff the floor or countertop after sealing it.
I don't know who or how they did the work.
If there is a problem I have not seen it.

That's why I like the information here!

I have not used it lately cost to much here.

Ok I would like to know who is using what sealer, and why?

Hector,
I have in many cases removed the film left behind from DuPont Bulletproof
sealer. Once you seal a floor you can take an alkaline based stripper and
remove the film/ haze left behind.
I had a project at Orlando international Airport where Bulletpoof was used
and they had problems and the seal had to be stripped off. Dupont own
Chemist when pressured in a discussion will admit it leaves a film on the
stone surface.

I've used many different sealer and prefer the sealer from StoneCare
Central. I know the manufacturer of the sealer and used it under differ
named labels.

I have used it, I like it, cost about 190.00 a gallon here.

It dries fast, have not seen a sealer haze.
