I think we have all had a bit of this.
A stainless cleaner with a coating/polish will take care of it.

Hello Chris we have run into this some years back. If you can find a thin light gray scrub pad I have purchased them from wood floor refinishing supply house. Sheila shine  stainless steel polish is what we use. Apply to pad rub lightly with the grain take your time too much pressure will distort the metal. WE have also used some metal polishes . In a pinch wd 40 works ok.

Hey Joe. Are you saying use the olive oil first and then clean with baking and water or other way around?

Hi all,

My techs cleaned a porcelain tile floor and grout lines today and splattered some cleaner on bottom of stove. They tried cleaning with a stainless steel cleaner but can still slightly see the area.
My instructions to cover all stainless steel appliances before any work were not followed unfortunately.
I will go back to resolve and will bring a few things with me. Any suggestions?

Thank you,
