Dayne,

The short answer would be this.

In most cases you'll need diamond resins and a powder polish such as 5X for full restorations resulting in a high polish with clarity and depth.

Diamond impregnated pads have their use, generally for maintenance of honed or polished floors.

Likewise, hoping to not have the mess/cost of having both when the pads can equal the polish product.

Hey guys first time reaching out.  I have been trained in using a polish powder to generate the acquired look for the “shiny” look with stone.  We now use the Zoom pads(which I love)  and I would like to know the pros and cons, in regard to, a potential 3000 grit mechanical and the finished product of the 5x powder.  Hoping to be as efficient as possible while achieving the result desired.  Thanks for all insight!
