Just looked at these pics on my computer-That is not an easy job -Black ab is tough to work on period (this is a large area). You need the right diamonds and techniques. You also have a potential feathering issue by the the riser/splash next to the wall. You absolutely will need to run quality diamonds on this-NSI's, Alpha Ceramica, Klindex Pantera, MB Honey combed to name a few.You will need to start possibly at 800 grit and work up from there to 3000 or beyond employing some wet to dry techniques to bring color back in to the stone. The final polishing will only be as good as the honing and prep work. You can use a crystallizer with some black tin oxide or MB-20 with black tin oxide.I don't recommendusing any sealers or color enhancers to get an acceptable result as they will last about as long as it takes you to drive back to your shop. I do recommend testing as bob suggested.I would work on a spare piece or buy a black ab tile and practice. On Fri, Jul 12, 2019 at 11:06 AM Bob Murrell <bmurrell@m3techinc.com> wrote:Oh and complete a test area to confirm the results and procedure first.
If polishing procedures do not achieve satisfactory results, some light honing will be required. Start with just a 3000g or 3500g disc (before dropping down to next lower grit) then try polishing again. And remember, when polishing with Granite Powder and Crystallizer, go from wet to dry with the crystallizer.

Thankyou for confirming. This is the side that was buffed from previous guys. We tried a spot using majestic marble crystilizer and steel wool pads, also we used granite polishing powder. But we didnt get any good results.
This is a section that wasnt touched.
This is a picture underneath it.

Greetings stone and tile pro, am having trouble with this countertop. The owner said its granite, some guys buffed or grind the countertop, but never worked on granite before. When I did a spot using the marble crystalizer with the steel wool pad nothing changed. The first picture is a part of the tile that wasnt touched, and the secound is the paet of the countertop that was done before we came. Is this really granite? If it isnt how can i fix it? The owners want to know because it was sold to them on the promise that it was...
