Joe,
I would also recommend you contact
RSVP to see if they service your area. if they do they already target the
income and house values you need to send out to and in most cases you are going
out with other high end service companies.
These companies once you find
out who they are great to network with. Advertising is expensive, you need to
ear mark to cash for multiple mailing. If you only plan on mailing once then
forget the direct mail program. It usually take 3 to 4 mailing to secure a good
return on your investments. You will probably only see ½ of 1 % return (calls )
from your first mailing and they will increase the more you send out. The 3 to
4 mailing must go to the same customers before they will really take notice of
your services.
Whenever you start an advertising,
as Holly stated in her email you must track ALL calls, you need to know where
the customer found you. You could be doing mailing and the customer found you
on the web or from your truck driving down the street.
This is information for all partners
if you are not tracking your customer, how they found you, you need to start
now doing so. This will assist you in determining what is working in your market,
you may find out the best method of advertising is through networking you will
never know unless you track every call.
Suggest making up an XL spread
sheet. Need help? email Holly , she can assist you hnewell@thestoneandtileschool.com

Joe,
Holly my administrator for The
Stone and Tile School has sent to you some information, Holly has worked with
direct mail and some other advertising program when she worked for with me in
our previous life in the stone restoration business ( you know that large
Franchise company) Holly was my franchise business coach and has worked
directly with the franchises helping them develop their business. She has a
good handle on what worked and what did not work based upon her tracking of the
results. If she can assist you please follow up with her .

Subject: [sccpartners] Postcard Advertising
I’m considering using postcards as a form of
advertising. The company I’m looking at is Postcard Mania.
Before I invest anymore resources I was wondering if anyone
has used postcards & what was the response.
Thanks,
Joe
