Roger, are you using an hard surface extractor? I would never do
one of these without it. On new gray grout, forget about it, even with an
extractor. I would definitely pre-seal the grout almost any time it is new
grout. I once had this problem and had to remove/replace all the grout,
nightmare, never did get paid, only time I never got paid. Ouch.

With a lot of limestone in homes or other honed
surfaces, we frequently use honing powders. No matter how thorough we are in
cleaning the grout lines, some always end up with some grout lighter or
different color from the rest of grout. Why is this? What can be done
