You have topical sealer/wax on your marble instead of
penetrating sealer. Solution will depend on what kind of sealer ware used.
Alkaline stripper that is specified for stone may do the trick if it is acrylic
finish, or acetone if it is silicone base sealer. Most likely marble will have
to be honed and repolish for best results. Any of the above operation is for DIY
on the weekend. You need knowledge and experience to work on stone or you will
damage it and then pay twice to refinish or replace the floor if the damage is permanent.
My suggestion is to contact your local stone restoration pro to
look at the problem.

Comments: I have marble flooring in my family room.I had put
down in October of 2007.He put a clear coat on it,but it was for tile(he did
nnot know the differance).I am tryin gto get a clear shine and been
trying to scrub it off.Not working yet.I am thinking of buying a hand buffer
and a wax polisher to get my marble shine again.HeLP!!!!!!!!!!!!
