Never had a problem with radiant floor heat on a slab, but I have on a pier to pier. When grinding on a pier to pier I use a lighter machine and a higher grit lippage disk and make more passes. The only stone I've refinished is travertine on radiant floor heat. I cracked several tiles and loosened several more using a heavy machine on a couple of jobs. I haven’t had a problem since I changed my approach. It may have been a bad installation ....... not unusual here. Anyway replacing tiles on radiant floor heat is a pain in the ...
