No travertine is travertine and can all be treated the same.  Just keep in mind if you ever need to hone it I would recommend honing to a 800 or 1800 on a counter top , it makes polishing easier.

Subject: [sccpartners] Black Travertine

I have a customer who has a black travertine island in their kitchen.  Very pretty and nothing wrong with it that I can see.  They wanted us to just clean it and seal it.  Is this stone treated any differently than other Travertine?
