Austin,
I‘ve used 5X powder for the past 15 years on Crème Marfil
and have excellent result. What you need to know is that ALL 5X powders are
not made equal. What I mean by this comment, there are a number of companies
that sell 5x powder. However they are powders they have made or had made for
them. The TRUE 5X powder is imported from Italy and works. The good 5x powder
is a finely milled powder and will nor clump together. Most of the other 5 x
powders will be course and grainy, clump together , these are not the true 5X
powder as I know them.
In fact using this powder and the right diamond you can actually
polish stones after a 220 hone and achieve a finish as good as if you honed up
to 400 or 800. This is one of the process we train at The Stone and Tile
School
The best source for 5X powder is from StoneCare Central and the
price is right !
The trouble I find with other so called 5 X powders is they don’t
work or they only work so /so
Get a GOOD 5X powder form StoneCAre Central and learn how to
use it properly and you will find you will only need 1 powder of ALL marbles, travertine,
and limestone.

Subject: [sccpartners] Powder polishing crema marfil
Hello everyone, I am curious to see what
everyone prefers using when powder polishing crema marfil. I have a small
400sq' job that they want me to clean up some etching and restore the polish. I
used a small amount of polishing compound from hardrock tools on a small area
and it came out amazing while cleaning up the etching. This job could potential
turn into a 10Ksq' job so I am hoping to do the best I can. Thank you in
advance for any help provided!
