I hope this doesn&#39;t sound silly but here it goes...<br><br>Is the industry standard thickness of granite counters 3cm?<br><br>I know there is this stone product that companies place on top of the existing counters which I would assume is a lot thinner than a real slab of granite.  However, in the life of a restoration pro, does it truly matter how thick the stone is in order to work on  the counter?<br>
