Greetings Mr. Campbell:
I figure what time it would take to do one of the steps,( Example:
1 hour per step). Then figure my average hourly rate I make doing restoration
work. Example: Restoration work I try to average an hour is $125.00 at least
per hour. So It would look like 15 steps x$ 125.00 per step = $1,875.00.
And if you offer any discounts for what every reason deduct it from that rate.
$1,875.00 – Example: Senior citizens discount of 10% = $1,687.50 for the
steps plus your floor cost.

Hi Phil:
I did a similar job awhile back. I charged $150.00 per
stair. The landings, I suggest just adding some more to your square footage
price for the hassle factor. Good Luck

Need some advice on bid. Looked at a old marble floor and stairs, about 50 yrs
old, White Carrera I think. It is in bad shape but I'm ok bidding the floor
but the stairs I don't know, there are 15 of them about 8 ft wide with 2 6x6
landings The stone is about 1 inch thick and is on the risers too. heavy
wear pattern
total sqft about 850 plus stairs.
Thanks Phil
