Ron,

If its Indiana limestone it wont be a problem. This type of limestone has a tendency to oxidize on the surface when newly installed and after a period of time it will disappear. The ole timers call this quarry sap but it is only surface oxidation that will disappear in time. This happens to all Indiana limestone. If this is what is happening. Take a look at the Indiana limestone manual and you will see this mentioned. Now if its not Indiana limestone it can be a different problem.  Do you have pics?

I beleive the document is free at their site   http://iliai.com/index.php

That was vague.  Dr. Fred, Salem Limestone/Indiana limestone is how it
appears to me. The stone are large, roughly 24"x36" and set in mortar bed,
in some areas between 3-5 inches.....not sealed.....oxidizing
already....going down a bad road. What do you suggest?  I have had a brief
conversation with John about this. Thanks

Ron
