Stuart,
Sounds like it may be the gasket from the gear housing. Whichever model you have if you can identify that the leak is infact the gear housing you can repair it yourself with liquid gasket. Wayne from levetec knows and works on klindex machines all the time.
Give him a call at 425-284-0950. He is a good guy and should be able to walk you thru the process.
