Roger,
1.) We use white pads as only a light buffing pad. We clean a lot of floors, however we make sure that most of the work is done (soil removal) before we do the final pass with white pads. And yes, we do use hot water extraction via truckmount to rinse the floors we clean.
2.) Here's how we clean a limestone floor:
1. Dry vacuum ( with truckmount)
2. Apply stone cleaner
3. run floor machine with brush or cleaning pad (usually green) to aggitate
4. rinse with truckmount hot water extraction at about 5 or 600 psi.

Subject: [sccpartners] Two Questions
I have two questions that I would appreciate feedback.
1. I go through a lot of white pads. Does anyone have any suggestions on getting more life out of the pads?
2. I need to clean a limestone floor. See attached picture. I have my way of cleaning the floor with a floor machine. Are jobs like this better handled with a hot water extractor?
Thanks,
