Hi,<div>Have a situation where a homeowner removed urethane from a slate indoor sunroom floor, impregnated it with solvent based color-enhancer and now wants a glossy topcoat. The background is that he removed the urethane himself, had a floor expert come in to strip and clean and then apply the color enhancer, which is what they recommended (and makes sense to me).  But, he says they didn&#39;t really explain what the results would look like and he thought the floor would be glossy.  I told him that applying a gloss topcoat to slate is iffy anyway depending upon wetness issues (he never had a problem with this before), but now a new topcoat may not adhere properly with the color enhancer in the stone. I haven&#39;t really had to deal with this before.  Is it possible to  strip or partially strip the floor of the color enhancer and apply a gloss finish like a polymer or similar? Perhaps a mexiglaze if it will work with the solvent?</div>
