This looks like it could be iron oxidation. I would test it for iron. You will need to pick up some ALPHA RSR 2000. this is a gel..Put a small dab of it on the stain and wait and see if it turns purple within 15 mins. IF it does you have iron oxidation. You can remove the iron with some iron out and a poultice but the problem is going to be constant wetting. ONce the iron is removed and the stone is dry you need to seal the crap out of it and hope for the best

I have a customer who installed 12x12 Delano honed marble for a shower install. The installer cut some of the tiles into 10x10. The material was never sealed prior to installation and the shower has not been in use. Can you please review pictures and give me your thoughts as to why the stone is yellowing on edges (wrong setting material???) and the body of the stone tile and how to stop or remove those stains.
