Hi all,

I have added Jonathon Zanger, President of Walker Zanger and Treasurer of the MIA.
Jon please read the entire thread of this e-mail.

As you all know, with the Green Movement it is a domino effect. Jonathon Zanger I believe is Chairman of a committee with the MIA on Stone as a Sustainable product.

We all need to get together for the future of our related industries. We are the future and have the ability, together, to have a great impact on what goes on in the future.

Perhaps Paul Pearce or Pat Winters can coordinate all forces to work together, rather than individuals.

Dan, please forgive my mistake, I thought you already had received your Doctorate.

Thanks all,
Brian

Dear Brian

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I too believe this is a very worthy venture and pleased that you are involving the IICRC. I met Fred some time ago and I am aware of the work that he does for the hard surface industry. In fact he is quite renowned over the pond in the UK where I know he has inspired many here by his teachings.

I have included Dan Bernazzani, Barry Costa (our Certification Council Chair) and Patrick Winters (our President) in this reply as they are all key folk in working on this project.

Please let me know what else we can do to help.

Kind regards

Paul

Greetings all,

Paul and Stan, I would like to make this e-mail introduction of the two of you to Fred Hueston. Fred is a renowned expert in the field of marble care, maintenance and restoration. Paul, as you know Stan is heading the committee to completely change the IICRC hard surfaces division for the betterment of the industry. Stan has my full support. I have asked Fred, Debbie Shaw and John Frietag to become involved as soon as Stan works out the nuances of the current situation. We don’t want to involve good people until we are properly structured.

The reason for this e-mail however, is to alert you to an issue that Fred Hueston is involved in relating to hard surfaces in government buildings. I believe our government affairs consultant, Dr. Dan Barnazzini, should have knowledge of this and be in touch with Mr. Hueston. This issue involves both “Green and Hard Surfaces” and is the very focus of IICRC.

I hope all will work in conjunction with each other to help the industry grow and achieve all the credibility it deserves.

Thank you all for your hard work,

Sincerely,

Brian Kornet

Fred,

Maybe you should be I'm touch with Dan Bernazzini. He is the government affairs chair for IICRC. In fact, as we develop the hard surface division of IICRC, I am hoping that you Debbie and John will get involved. Put the past aside. I did.
