Stone Tip of The Week...Travertine Filler

Many times when filling travertine, Portland Cement, Traverfill or Grout will be used. The problem is that these materials do no polish as high as the stone and the travertine can look spotty.  The next time you fill Travertine, try using an unsanded epoxy grout. The epoxy will polish.  Be careful and dont overfill otherwise it will be difficult to remove the epoxy. I fill after the 120 grit.
