I have tried all suggestions. Packing tape, gaffers tape, staying away from the area and doing it with hand machines, honing powders, etc. I do not believe there is one solution. Is there lippage? Bottom line, I believe the answer will depend n the nature of the floor. Good luck.

Greetings all, I'm looking at a Crème marfill floor with a lot of granite inlays that the owner wants polished. and may need some light diamond work.  I don't want to touch the granite. anyone have a technique to work around the granite?
Thank you
