Will crystalization help?I know that is hard to prevent the chemical reaction from damaging the stone but I remember that John mentioned some new product developed for restaurant or hotel industry that supposed to minimize the etching.I have a customer that supplier sold her quartzite material (ivory bamboo) for a kitchen countertop. it turned that it is a marble, a very sensitive marble. The only way I can get good finish with out burning this stone is to hone to 1500 and polish with Stone Tech 3000 powder. It is job security for me (already 2 trips within 2 months) but I am growing tired of listening of the same story again and again. The supplier doesn't want to do anything and customer is stuck with 24'x6' beautiful slab that etches like crazy.Any ideas?
