For the metal scuff marks try Amazing
Remover. Put some on and let it sit for a few minutes than wipe it off . You
may need to do this a couple of times. We use this method in are carpet
cleaning division. Sometimes the metal wand will leave a mark on tile and this
has always worked to remove it. This product also works great on stone to
remove rust and does not etch the stone.

the problem with color enhancers on exterior stone is it wont last..
to be honest they are more than likely going to have to replace the
stone.

can try a polishing powder..this should remove the metal marks.

While on the subject of impala black… Is there a method
for removing metal scuffs. There is a floor I looked at today and it was marked
from cleaners using a vacuum, and scuffed it with what appears to be aluminum.
I tried an abrasive cleaner, no luck.

I’m not sure I would use balck motor oil, however if you
want to go that way call me or Fred and we can tell you how to darken sealers
using bolied linseed oil. If you do use boiled linseed oil mixed with a solvent
based sealer
BE CAREFUL THE BOILED LINSEED OIL HAS A LOW FLASH POINT.
DON’T EVEN LET APPLICATOR OR ANTHING WITH THE SEALER AND THE LINSEED OIL
IN YOUR TRUCK OR WAREHOUSE IT WILL BURN!!!!!!

[sccpartners] Impala Black granite
We have a customer
with a lot of Impala Black on their landscape boxes and pillars. The
bottom of the stone has a bit of spalling and has turned to a a light
color. They are hoping to have this refinished.
It is about 10
years old and has never had any maintenance done. I believe that the
light color may be effloresence, but is right next to a walk and driveway that
is salted in the winter.
I’m looking
for suggestions to save the customer having to replace the stone. They
are not expecting it to look perfect, but would like the color back.
