This is a Mexican tile that is VERY PORES, it usually has a coating on it that’s very difficult to remove. The problem with this tile is many time when you strip it the finish comes off. If you are going to do this job TEST,TEST,TEST

You can only strip and apply a new finish , usually a waxed based product.
