I would first test it with a mild acid such as sulfamic if that doesn’t work then try an alkali. Of course test first

I have a client with a slate patio. He wants me to remove the haze on his slate stone. I’ve attached pictures of the stone. The white haze on the slate appears to be residue left from when the slate was installed. What would be the best way to remove it?

Thanks,

Brian
