have had some great success with a pressure washer with heated water..you can rent them at most rental shops
Just dealt with the same thing. Not sure if it was silicone. Used a waterbased stripper, scrubbed with a strata grit brush, then 1200 psi w a turbo nozzle.Sent via BlackBerry® from Telstra
