I was curious about scratch removal. Will 280 honing powders remove scratches as effect say as 220 diamonds. I use that as comparison since they do not know of any 280 diamonds. Or will honing powders remove scratches at all?

2ndly, I have a customer with a limestone floor that has a too rough of finish due to someone acid washing the floor.  I know that I can use diamonds say up 400 grit to give the stone a smooth finish followed with honing powders.  But my concern is unless I grind the floor flat I will not accomplish a consistent smooth finish on all the tiles. Is that a valid concern?
