TO ALL ,

I agree with Roger the hand diamond from StoneCare Central are very good. These are the diamond I use for training and have used in my own restoration business for years. I never use sand paper .

I use sand papers, not scratch patterns, 5 X - easy to polish. However I would think that the diamonds I get from Stone Care Central will work fine. I've noticed that they don't leave scratch patterns on lower grits.

To everyone,

I just looked at some onyx countertops which have become dull.  They were originally polished, but across time and use they have lost their sheen.  I have no experience with onyx.  Does it polish like marble? Is it hard like granite? I haven't the slightest idea.  Any experience out there polishing this stone?
