What also works well is Klenztone (ammonium bi-flouride) and it will not eat your skin! It is a super easy process but you have to me methodic. And be sure to test a sample tile to get your dilution correct (and time) put a little neutral cleaner in there to help it to "lay" so you will get a smooth look. Most of the time you can get great results with very little change to the finish. It is criminal how much these anti slip companies charge, if you have access to he work go for it!

Subject: [sccpartners] Anti-Slip Treatments

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone out there has come across an effective anti-slip treatment for polished floors. A friend of mine told me about a treatment that employs some sort of micro-etching or something along these lines that does not require a coating.  I often get asked about this sort of thing and I can typically only recommend a coating of polymer, which I don't particularly like.
Thanks,
Baird
