Adam,
I would recommend StoneLoc from Richard James Chemical. The StoneLoc
family of products is the only topical sealer that will enhance the slate or
allow you to achieve a gloss finish and still allow the stone to breath.
If you use this product you MUST follow the directions. This is
the best seal to use on this application. This work both interior and exterior.

Can someone recommend me a good glossy sealer / color
enhancer? I've been using 357E Stone Sealer Enhancer from Gran Quartz. It is
good, not yellowing and durable sealer enhancer but unfortunately smells badly.
I am planning on using that on cleft finish slate (interior) and apply 2 coats.
