We were also using the stonetech lacquer because we were told that their formulation allowed the stone to breathe as well. Either way, I am in new york and due to new regulations no one can import the stonetech lacquer into the Tri-State area. It sounds very similar to the product john suggested

In the past, we have used Stone Tech's lacquer finish to achieve a high sheen on slate.

Can someone recommend me a good glossy sealer / color enhancer? I've been using 357E Stone Sealer Enhancer from Gran Quartz. It is good, not yellowing and durable sealer enhancer but unfortunately smells badly. I am planning on using that on cleft finish slate (interior) and apply 2 coats.
