John,
This would be available through Stonecare Central?

To all
I’m currently working with a company that is developing an
Impregnating Dark Enhancing Sealer Solvent based low odor. I have
used a version of this sealer before on Slate and the color turns out great. I
have also used the same sealer on honed travertine and the results are great
I hoping this company will have this product ready in the next
couple of month to offer out to everyone.

I agree with John, all the RJSC
products are amazing. Check out the Stone Hardener 2 also. RJSC is like K E
Chemicals, sleeper companies with an awesome line of alternative products you
won't find anywhere else.
With the Stone Loc, make SURE the surface is totally dry (at least 24 hrs).
I am a skeptic of coatings that claim they will allow the stone to breathe. Did
36,000 sf of sandstone with the Stone Loc 2 and I'd did flake in several areas.
After it rained the stone darkened and it took a LONG tome to lighten up. So...
I rarely use coatings these days. I have a montra, that I would not apply
something I could never completely strip (or wouldn't want to) When applying
some of these coatings to a porus stone you can never get it all out when
stripping.
For slate if you resurface it with a tynex brush it will have a beautiful
finish, and two coats of just a regular silicone sealer (511) will make the
color pop. I find solvent-based impregnators from the silicone family are great
on slate.

The good news is the products from Richard James Chemical are
water based.

We were also using the stonetech
lacquer because we were told that their formulation allowed the stone to
breathe as well. Either way, I am in new york and due to new regulations no one
can import the stonetech lacquer into the Tri-State area. It sounds very
similar to the product john suggested

In the past, we have used Stone Tech's lacquer finish to achieve a
high sheen on slate.

Can someone recommend me a good glossy sealer / color enhancer? I've been using 357E Stone Sealer Enhancer from Gran Quartz. It is good, not yellowing and durable sealer enhancer but unfortunately smells badly. I am planning on using that on cleft finish slate (interior) and apply 2 coats.
