Is there any way to reduce or eliminate “oxidization” from occurring on exterior travertine.

Not sure what the correct term is, have heard it called “coraling” but it is where the surface appears etched and loses its hone, and subsequently gets a light/white cast to it.

STP had a UV resistant sealer, not sure if that would do anything.  What about a colloidal silica consolidant?

Has anybody ever tested a solution?
