Hi Tony we have polished some of this before and had no trouble but then again I didn't have to take it down to a honed state with the diamonds either.

The only problem I can see is if there is lippage that would leave the edges with a factory shine still other than that I can't see much trouble.

So I guess that wasn't much help after all sorry good luck.......
