Hey Tony,

So by wrong sealer do you mean something topical perhaps Acrylic?
If it is a penetrating sealer or 511 the homeowner tried to put on themselves you have a few options one being if you know what sealer you can use the same sealer and reactivate it.

If it is dried sealer haze just use honing powder like 120grit and finish to desired level.

I mean I imagine you you could use chemicals or even the 220's if you had to and re-hone but have been able to just use mb's 120 honing powder takes anything from the surface and leaves a great looking sheen.

Anyway as for price it should be very easy and I would think you could charge anywhere from $3-5.00 pr ft to hone-clean and properly seal....
Good luck

Hey guys I have a question on pricing and solution. I have to bid a job that was damaged by the wrong sealers. It is a fairly new install and it is a gold honed limestone.I need to strip it and re-seal.The install is pretty good, no lippage. What is the easiest way to remedy and app. how much is the going rate? I understand location but what is the norm?
Thanks
Tony
