Subject: RE: [sccpartners] Carrara Marble
Sounds like iron oxidation to me..There is one sure way to tell. Get hold of some Alpha RSR 2000 and place a small drop on the orange spot..If it turns purple with a five minutes its positive for iron.

What would cause orange stains on a Carrara Marble bathroom floor? I think it could be iron but a mold remediation contractor thinks it is a toxic microbial. The floors are 20 to 40 years old, if not older.
