The 5Xwill not necessary remove any finishes or sealers if he need to remove a sealer there are products for that. if it’s a topical sealer he will probably need to use an alkaline based stripper.
From the pictures I just look at it’s a polishing issue more than anything

John. The 5x is for taking off whatever is on top of the stone. It will not polish granite.

Dustin,
It appears you have a good hone. Did you polish this using the black granite powder and a crystallizer ? if not go back and put down some black granite polishing powder and add crystallizer to the polish. Make this into a paste and continue to polish until all the polish is burnt into the stone. Add some additional crystallizer and the powder will come back alive. Burn the powder in again. Then take a clean steel wool pad and lightly spray on some additional crystallizer and work it into the stone and repeat this a couple of time and the stone color and shine should come back into the stone. the use of 5X powder will not assist in repolishing the

I am in need of some ideas from the group. I had a small repair job on a granite counter top from what looked to be an etching ring. After the repair the color of the newly polished area is noticeably lighter in color. I tried to color match it by using Stone Tech Enhancer Pro and it got closer but still dose not match.
Dose anyone have any ideas for me other than just redo the entire counter top. My fear is if I try to redo the entire counter top I will have a dark line at the edge of the splash boards.
Any help is welcome
Thanks
