looks like sandstone, if they want gloss a solvent based modified acrylic will work make it look like it does when it is wet, or color enhancing impregnator sealer will work but it looks thirsty to me so bid a little extra, a water based modified acrylic will make a little darker but that is just wax. get it wet and see if that is what they want. that is usually what i do to give them a sample without putting any sealer down.
