Baird,

Most of your sealers will have some for odor to them. I would recommend you have a MSDS sheets with you in case the customer gives you any problems. When you are working in a building with tenants the property manager should have alerted the tenants and if any tenant had any problem the property manager should have the MSDS to give to any tenant that has any concerns.

Subject: [sccpartners] water based or 0 fume color enhancing impregnating sealer?

Hi,

We have been impregnating a slate floor with color-enhancing sealer and one of the tenants has some serious issues with what they perceive to be fumes.  They may be the kind of tenant that can smell water, but in any event, does anyone have a recommendation for a waterbased impregnating color-enhancing sealer or one that has no perceptible lingering fumes?  For what its worth, we used Aldon SBS sealer on the slate.

Thanks,

Baird
