It's on frame ie subfloor-backerboard. She thinks she will be able to keep it cleaner. Fred, would you walk?

Customer wants a topical sealer on her Interior quartzite. I don't like the Idea especialy the thought of stripping it some day. Would hydrostatic pressure be an issue if its not on slab?,
