Any pad that is rubberized will eventually leave a mark. This could be from off gassing to oxidation, chemical reactions etc. If it is a small piece without any furniture to keep it in a place, I would suggest a non-skid pad. It is very specific and will help to prevent slip and fall accidents. If it is larger, a Durahold pad is currently the best on the market. For finer rugs, although expensive, we use it.

Can anyone recommend a backer pad for a rug that will not eventually leave it marks or residue on slate tiles? Or something else to place under the rug to keep if from slipping? Thanks, RK |
