What John F suggests in his class, that I recall, is to scrub clean the floor thoroughly and flush it out to remove any loose sand.

I would add to communicate and pre-qualify the challenges you face due to sanded grout being installed on a stone installation. Make sure your prospect will be happy with what you can deliver, and the same with you. Will you be happy with your work?

I have been asked to bid on 1500 sq' ft of Crema Marfil. It is currently polished and they want it honed. Unfortunately they have used sanded grout. Last experience with this issue, sanded grout,  was not good and I am seeking any options to avoid having a repeat of scratching all over the place. Thanks inn advance.
