According to who sold the stone, it is just quartzite  I will try to get more specifics.  Some was faintly there and it got worse over time. Also a spot near the stove has staining that’s over an inch.  It was next to the burner they always used so they started using the other side.  The stain stopped growing and the other side is fine.  But the sink stone has this ¼ to ½ ‘’ line that has been developing over the past year.  Again, it may have been faintly there.  If it is from the fabricating machine, n anything be done to correct it?

what material is this..was the stain always there or did it develop later.  Was it fabricated with a CNC machine?  Looks like it might be from the CNC

I am going to test a poultice on Tuesday, I just wanted to send these pics
to see if someone has a thought as to what this could be.  If you look
closely at the picture from underneath you can see a faint dark line there
too.  In person you can see it better.  So this couldn't be a caulk issue
right?  Its only on that edge and obviously there is no caulk there.
Thoughts?
