What's your final finish grit? Try cutting down a twister type pad to 7" then use that to whatever your final finish level is.

How do you remove scratches from tile which has honed, brushed finish with bush hammered edges?
Scratches are equivalent of 200 grit and there is about 6sq ft of the damaged area so I am planning on using Makita. Travertine is the material.
I have 2 tiles to practice and I am looking for any ideas.
Is there a way to do it with out spending fortune on brushes?
