this has worked well for me, score the joint 1 side cutting blade
width,3/4" deep, to score the concrete , then I fill the line the line half full
of caulk, carve a small scerde out of a toung depresser, let set up. then mix
Latacrete epoxy grout "almond" with 1/2 of the filler powder, diamond
restoration to selected finish.
the flex caulk allows for expantion and keeps the epoxy from seeping low,
and the epoxy grout finishes nicely , not saying this is the right way ,
but I know it works , even in harsh exterior conditions in the Fl Keys, where
the beating sun causes a lot of slab movement, hope this helps Scott

Hi,
I
have a project just finishing up restoring a travertine floor.
Right above
a set of steps there is a grout line that continues to
crack and we would
like to replace it with a flexible material that
matches the travertine
tiles. Have tried putting a caulk seam in and
matching the color, but
the caulk is weak and doesn't stand up to the
foot traffic. Also
having a hard time color matching. Any
thoughts?
Thanks.
