Hi Paula:

Forgot to respond to your request. Try a poultice with Toulene or methylene chloride (pain stripper). This may tale several attempts if it is successful at all.

Good Luck

Any ideas on how to get marking pen off tile or stone?
Thanks,
Paula

Ever been faced with stains on stone from pencil lead? For example, after a shower has been installed the markings the installer made were left behind?

If you do, here are a couple of ways to get rid of them. The first way may seem to obvious, but it works if the markings are still fairly recent -- just erase them with a simple pencil eraser.

If that doesn't do it, use some denatured alcohol on it (which you can get at Home Depot or other hardware or home improvement store).
