Never used nano scrub but I think it is just a fine abrasive in a paste. Try a strong specific wax stripper like bare bones,J and J pro. We like ultra chem labs strippers.
Use a black pad  and if that doesnt work throw in some honing powders maybe 150 grit. Just be mindful the honing powder will impact the finish of the slate. Test an area first for effect.
You may need to color enhance or use a topical. Test -and test before you go. Brutal work-good luck

Use J&J Pro strip. I've used this for years. Good luck!

We are in the middle of removing 15 years of johnson and johnson floor wax off of a  slate floor and its taking forever to get through the layers. Do you think this product might work better than the stripper/degreaser from stonecare central? Or any other ideas?

Hey all,
Just wanted to share with everyone the good experience I had with Aqua mix nano scrub. It claims to remove sealers and coatings.  I Have a client with a tumbled travertine that  had patches of an old coating. I used nano scrub with 220 brushes and the remainder came right off real easy. I tried a section without the nano and did not get the same results. Overall I was quite impresssed. with the performace of this product.
