Well put Jason
Densifier just makes makes concrete harder. (densifying silicate plus c hydroxide = more csh gel)It's ok to do more. The more the better. It will reject the densifier when it's had enough.( just like a sealer).Jason
Sent from my iPhonenot sure there is a way to test for a densifer without taken a core. However with that said you should be able to densify over it.

Fellow colleagues,
How do you test for densifier? Looking at a terrazzo floor from the 1960s that has already been polished before, but is obviously now showing signs of wear and abuse, mainly in the traffic areas. It has a nice sheen in some areas but not a lot of clarity.
So how does one test for pre-existing densifier? Is it bad to densify again?
Thanks in advance for the replies.
